Why the SREC number is lower per kW than on a house.
At 35.2 kW this is a Large Distributed Generation project, which sits in a different Illinois Shines category with different pricing from a residential system. Net SREC here works out near $990 per kW against roughly $1,610 per kW on a home. Bigger is not automatically better per watt, which is worth knowing before you compare two quotes.
